Who checks fire fighting systems in Qatar? Fire safety in Qatar is under the General Directorate of Civil Defence (often called QCDD) at the Ministry of Interior. Civil Defence approves fire protection systems and must be satisfied before a building’s fire safety certificate is renewed. Our QCDD guide explains the process in simple terms.

Do warehouses and factories in Qatar need sprinklers? Under updates to the Civil Defence Technical Requirements Guide (third edition) presented in October 2026, medium-risk warehouses and factories with a total area above 1,115 square metres need automatic sprinkler systems. All spaces under one roof count toward that total. If you own or build this type of property, ask us to review your requirements.

Can you supply equipment only, without installation? Yes. We supply fire fighting equipment, fire protection materials and all types of valves to contractors who use their own installation teams. We can also supply and install together.
